Geocache Description:

Redmond Rain can bring nature to industrial areas.

The unimaginative name of "SE Redmond Pond B" is not reflective of the beauty of the stormwater treatment wetland that provides a great habitat buffer between the industrial area to the south and Evans Creek and the Bear Creek wetlands to the north. It also removes sediment, oil and grease, and dissolved metals from stormwater runoff.

FTF: froggerhop & bolosky

The SE Redmond Regional Facilities Plan envisions five stormwater ponds that provide flow control and treatment to cleanup the waters flowing from the industrial properties in this area. One of the County's better streams, Evans Creek, flows right through the heart of this industrial zone.

You will find yourself standing next to SE Redmond Pond B, a stormwater treatment wetland and detention pond. You don't need to go through the fence to find the cache. You may enjoy walking down the maintenance road to get a closer look at the pond and the wildlife there. Amphibians and birds are making this home.

If you see wildlife, snap a picture and share what you saw in your log.
