Old Fogie* Cache #4** — Half Way Lichen It Traditional Geocache

Part of the Iron Hills Trail System, the Lichen It trail is rated as an easy ride. The trail will take you through the juniper-pinon forest southeast of Cedar City. This trail has two way traffic while the trail it connects to, Lava Flow, is one way only– from the top down. 

While rated easy, it is about as tough a ride as this old fogie will make, so take care. Cache is halfway up the Lichen It trail– about 1.6 miles– and about 50 feet into the rocks. 

Hey! This old fogie made it up on his old fogie bike. Even more amazing I made it back down (I'm not an upper-intermediate rider so I came back down the same trail). How hard can it be?

*fogie- An elderly person, usually someone who constantly finds fault with everything and reminisces about the 'good old days' while listening to Bobby Vinton or Elvis. Spends many hours a day waiting for buses because their children refuse to listen to them while driving. Usually working class and annoying to most. Most people will just attempt to ignore them rather than tell them to be quiet.
