What a beautiful spot that I have never stopped at before! I have lived in the surrounding area my entire life and pass by here at least twice a year! There is plenty of parking and a short walk to this beautiful old bridge. The bridge is dated 1923 and has amazing views of the water below. According to thedawdler's (previous cache owner) summary, the cache gets its name from the old time fish ladder that is now located 100 feet below the bridge.
Please bring your own pen and watch children in this area. The area has a few drops that could be dangerous if you get off the main path. I hope you enjoy this hide and find it!! It used to be very EVIL. NOT ANYMORE. !
The pullout is large and good for parking, specifically traveling eastbound. Be careful reentering traffic as cars move fast through this area. My GPS on your phone may be bad. I recently moved this hide to an easier location. GPS should take you to the middle of the bridge. From that location go to the end of the far side. You are looking for a tree hole and a rock! Yep! Right there!
CONGRATULATIONS TO BRUHN FOR FTF!
