The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn came to mind while I was checking out the area. It even seems a beaver might have quite a sweet set up and is using the concrete culvert as a super highway to the pond on the other side.
This is a tough little hide and should stay that way if replaced as found or better, a some what quiet road but you still need to park safely.
The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn was a favorite of mine as a young boy , the idea of a leisurely life that lead to daily adventures was appealing to me. The use of the imagination in the readings often lead to my own adventures weather it be at the local swimming spots or a day in the willow trees at the edge of our yard. As I placed this cache the mosquito's were out in full force.
Hope this spot bring's a memory back to you also from your childhood.....and any beaver sights would be a bonus.
