Geocache Description:

The Ninth Plague of Egypt - Darkness (חוֹשֶך): Ex. 10:21–29

"Stretch out your hand toward the sky so that darkness will spread over Egypt—darkness that can be felt." So Moses stretched out his hand toward the sky, and total darkness covered all Egypt for three days. No one could see anyone else or leave his place for three days.

This is the ninth out of ten caches placed in or around Wausau area. There are cache series in the area for the Seven Dwarves, the Packers, the Wizard of Oz - why not Plagues?

THIS IS A NIGHT CACHE
This night journey will lead you to a hidden gem in the Wausau area. It's on a paved bike trail, so the walking is easy. The trail is well-lit most of the way, so the flashlight will only be needed to spot the reflectors. It's a relatively short round trip (about a half-mile). Enjoy!

To locate the cache, wait until it's good and dark out, and head for the posted coordinates. Look for the distinctive black and yellow reflector and then head downhill along the trail, looking for the next one. Sometimes it's quite a distance between reflectors, but stick to the path. When you see WHITE reflector pins, you're getting close. The cache will be found near ORANGE reflector pins.

The cache container is a black matchstick container.
