This cache is located within Ocean Inlet Park also known known as Boynton Inlet Park. There is plenty of free parking available provided you get here early on weekends, it can be very busy here. Fishing is available at the jetty 24 hours a day. The cache is a container within a container and it's location can be very muggly at times.
The Boynton inlet was constructed in 1927 to help flush pollutants and sewage from Lake Worth. The inlet is not considered navigable but is used by many recreational boaters to gain access to the ocean anyway and it's reputation of being dangerous is well deserved. Many boating accidents have occured here but the most famous is when a commercial drift fishing boat sank at the mouth of the inlet in 1964, drowning 5 of its patrons. That drift boat was the Two Georges, which is also the name of a semi-famous seafood restaurant/bar on Lake Worth that was owned by the same people at one time. Also, just to the west of the cache location was a popular seafood grill that closed in the 1960's and was demolished. Today the surrounding area is a very popular beach park.
