Geocache Description:

Castor Canadensis is the scientific name of the north american beaver.

The large rodents are just getting started here.  You can see where things have been gnawed off, where mud has been pushed up, and where the beasties have been traveling on land.

I climbed the tree to see if I could spot a beaver.  I had to get "up in the world" in order to spy one.  I thought I'd share the view with everyone which should explain the location.

I rated this 4½ stars for terrain because I made it up the tree without using any tools.  However, I am convinced it would have been much easier using a couple of climbing sticks or a ladder.  You will have to climb the tree to sign the log, the container is wired to the tree.

This should be a nice change of pace from all the KB caches.
