This cache will be archived sometime around October 11, as the UCA 2016 season is ending soon.
Congratulations to Stick People for FTF!
This is part of a series of 16 geocaches placed near outdoor art installations. The geocaches will only be available until mid-October. There will also be a bonus geocache for those who find all 16 in the series (look for a number between 1 and 99 on the logbook or container). For other geocaches in the series, see the bookmark list UCA 2016.
Stop 5: "Birds on a Wire" by Sanna Rahola and Douglas Drdul
Artist's description of the installation:"With the continuing migration of people to this area the historical family ties are mixed and intertwined with new families. Primary colours are mixed to create beautiful secondary and tertiary colours. The birds balancing on the wire represent the ability of people to adapt, share the space, their love, and the environment they inhabit."
The geocache is located at the coordinates N 45 05.1A1 W 064 22.19B. To find the values of A and B, go to the posted coordinates and answer these questions.
- Are the birds 2, 4 or 8 feet off the ground? Call this height "A".
- Are the birds all the same color? If same color, then B=0. If different color, then B=5
New Hint: The season's drawing to an end soon, so here's some extra hint-age: As you approach the final you'll be walking down a path. Turn right onto another path, walk 5m along that path, then go about 2m right.
