Geocache Description:

It is recommended that you bring tweezers to access the log, BYOP.

A beautiful view in the heart of the adirondacks. Not much worry on muggles out here.


This lake is created by the damming up of the Saranac River by the small hydroelectric dam nearby.

When replacing the log roll it up and put it in the CAP, not the body. This will keep the log from being jammed into the container.

I have added a reference point so you don't have to drive all the way into Bloomingdale or even Saranac Lake to get cell coverage if your app can't save caches offline. Norman's Ridge is not too far away and at least for Verizon there is GREAT coverage there (I don't know for other companies but that's the best bet location). Get a map screenshot if needed / use 3rd party GPS app.
