Workyticket: As there appears to have been no response from the CO we are archiving this cache listing to prevent it from continually showing up in search lists and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements in the area. Once a cache is archived for non-responsiveness (including the cache page) it can't be unarchived.

Geocache Description:

This is a magnetic micro.  Please bring your own pen/pencil.  Tweezers may also be required.

EXTREME MUGGLE WARNING! The cache is very close to a popular cafe and is usually heavily populated during the day with dog walkers (and beach lovers). I would advise to look for this cache at quieter times of the day.

Many towns in the UK were presented with tanks at the end of World War One.  The photo attached shows the Redcar tank at the railway station in 1919.  At some point it was moved to the corner of Lilac Grove and Coast Road where some British Legion seating exists today.  It is generally believed that the tank was used for scrap in World War Two.  However, my father who was born in 1944 remembers playing on it as a child.
