This new path now links Peldon Village and Abberton church and is the home to a huge variety of birds, nightingales, meadow pipit, great tit, blue tit, goldfinch, grey heron, kestrel, reed bunting, fieldfare, wren, robin, redwing, chaffinch, skylark, little gull, bewick's swan, goosander, song thrush, avocet, egyptian goose, marsh harrier, ruff, red head pochard, peregrine, marsh harrier, gadwall, pochard, tufted duck, goldeneye, smew, cormorant, coot, moorhen, bitern, grey heron, blackbird, carrion crow, magpie, common gull, herring gull, dunnock, wren, wood pigeon, common buzzard, mallard, teal, shoveler, goosander, greylag goose, canada goose, chaffinch, pied wagtail, jackdaw, rook, cetti's warbler, black headed gull, meadow pipit, goldfinch, starling, stock dove, merlin, black-necked grebe, slavonian grebe.
