The Great Wall-end-as Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Reviewer Revan: Cache Owner (CO) has not responded, so I am regretfully archiving this cache to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking new cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace this cache sometime in the future (not to exceed 10 days from the date of this entry), just contact me (by e-mail), and assuming it still meets the current Guidelines, I will consider unarchiving this cache.

Please be advised this is not a guarantee that this geocache will be unarchived. Many factors will go into my decision. The most important of which is how you responded to geocachers who tried to communicate with you regarding the problem(s) with this geocache hide and how you communicated with me, the Reviewer Revan.

Geocache Description:

A mid-sized park-and-grab near some big-box shopping.

From Wikipdedia: "The Flying Wallendas is the name of a circus act and daredevil stunt performers, most known for performing highwire acts without a safety net. They were first known as The Great Wallendas, but the current name was coined by the press in the 1940s and has stayed since. The name in their native German, "Die fliegenden Wallendas", is a play on the title of the Wagner opera, Der fliegende Holländer ("The Flying Dutchman")."

I remember seeing a few documentary shows about The Flying Wallendas when I was young.  However, this cache really has nothing to do with the daring performers other than a dual play on the name.  It could be "The Great Wall End", or "The Great Wal End".  Regardless, this should be a quick find with room for some swag.

Be sure to check out the Alliance Keller Area Geocachers (AKA Geocachers) group. We meet once a month in the Keller area to fellowship and discuss caching. For more info, visit our Facebook page .
