This Geocache is located at the Frentress Family Cemetery, overlooking the Mississippi River valley just west of the family farm. The tombstones show the names of many of the family members. It is about 1500 feet from the farmhouse and summer kitchen. There is a walking trail just off of JFK Road north of the Highway 20 frontage road. The original founder (Eleazer Frentress) settled in what is now East Dubuque with over 1,000 acres of land. The Cemetery is located at where the original Frentress Cabin used to lay. Please be respectful of the no trespassing and the burial grouds.
