La cache se trouve sur le site de cette Eglise dans la commune du Marigot
Pour s'y rendre à cette Eglise, il faut passer par la commune de Sainte Marie et c'est la 1ère commune juste apres.
Il faut noter que comme la commune entière du Marigot, l'Eglise est posée sur un marais séché. Elle est bâtie sous forme d'amphithéâtre face à la baie de Fond d'Or. Commune axée principalement sur l'agriculture, l'horticulture avec ses 300 ha de goyaves et de citrons verts.
LE SITE :
L'église Saint Pierre Saint Paul et le presbytère ont été détruits à maintes reprises par les cyclones et les intempéries depuis 1687, date de construction du premier édifice par le révérend Pierre Paul ( d'où son nom de baptême ) L'Eglise est ensuite rebâtie sur une petite esplanade de 1838 à 1840. Le Clocher entièrement détruit par le cyclone de 1891, est reconstruit huit ans plus tard ( A noter qu'un simple passage couvert relie le clocher au corps du bâtiment est unique en son genre en Martinique ).L'Eglise est fortement endommagée par le séisme de 1946 et a été restaurée en 1950 par le père Gauthier, curé de la paroisse de 1949 à 1958. Le 31 Janvier 1999 le père Théon consacre la paroisse Saints-Pierre et Paul au Coeur immaculé de Marie.
LA CACHE :
Une fois que vous avez trouvé une place pour votre voiture, le site est très facile d'accès. La cache de petite taille magnétique contient originellement le log mais pas de crayon. Apportez donc votre crayon (BYOP) et soyez extrêmement discret, l’endroit est très fréquenté. SVP replacez la cache exactement à l’endroit où vous l’avez trouvé.

The hiding place is on the site of this Church in the municipality of the Marigot.

THE SITE:

The Bell tower completely destroyed by the cyclone of 1891, is reconstructed eight years later (to note that a simple covered passage connects the bell tower with the body of the building is unique in Martinique) .The Church is strongly damaged by the earthquake of 1946 and was restored in 1950 by father Gauthier, priest of the parish from 1949 till 1958. On January 31st, 1999 father Théon dedicates the parish Saint-Peter and Paul to the Marie's spotless Heart.
