Geocache Description:

In this ongoing series, I hope to highlight some of the long gone areas of Anderson. This should be an easy P&G. You may need tweezers or a similar tool to retrieve the log from the container.

Southdale Plaza was once a booming strip mall. At one point, the stand alone building at the south end of the lot housed a retail store. The plaza took a hit when they moved to the North side of town and buisness slowed slightly. Within the past few years the building also contained a children's bouncehouse type park, which later moved to the mall down the road. Even more recently, a food store closed it's doors in the building on the west side of the lot. Business severly dropped when Marsh closed. Now only a few businesses are surviving in this near desolate complex including a video game/comic store and a barber shop.

If you have any ideas on how to make this cache better, please let me know. If you have memories or more information on the Southdale Plaza, leave it in your log entry.

Above all, Be safe, Have fun, and Happy caching!
