Geocache Description:

Two-stage cache with puzzles to solve at each stage. Starts with a tour of historic downtown Farmington, and ends at a popular city site.

Farmington loves its libraries.
From the first library in 1869 to today, the citizens of Farmington have hungered for good books. While the road to a permanent library was a bumpy one over the years, the people of Farmington refused to give up. Though it is now a branch of the Dakota County Library system, Farmington can still boast that its library was the first established in the county.
There have been many changes to the Farmington libraries in their 147 year history. As the city grew and changed, so did its library. Many of the buildings that housed the libraries over the years are now gone. This geocache is as much an acknowledgement of our growth and history as it is an introduction to the changes that are a part of the library’s movement into our future.
Follow the posted coordinates to the first site. Once there, solve the following puzzle to get the second set of coordinates.
