Was in the area finding a few caches and noticed there was a lot of room for more caches here. I brought a few containers with me to place along the way.
Stony Valley Rail Trail - an almost 20 mile long rail trail through some great PA wilderness. The trail provides recreation for hikers, bikers, and horseback riders. Always nearby is the Stony Creek, a great place to fish. The area is located in the State Game Lands. During some seasons you will be required to wear a certain amount of blaze orange clothing. I like to come out here in the summer as the trees along the trail keep the valley somewhat cooler than other rail trails in the countryside.
This series of caches is not meant to be difficult, just something to do while you are hiking/biking/riding along the trail. Bring your bug spray in spring, summer, and fall. Beware of poison ivy, as it grows all along the side of the trail. Difficulty rating based on GPS bounce, it's really pretty easy to find it, once you are there.
