Cowboy turned his horse up Montezuma Street to reach El Mercado del Ciudad. He heard they had an apothecary who could whip up a batch of herbs and minerals to cure his ailment. Cowboy could barely walk to the shop where old Doc McElwain had lots of bottles, pots and and baskets with strange foul smelling mixtures of plants or magic potions. Doc looked up and said, “Son, you look like Hell”. Cowboy told Doc his symptoms and Doc said “I got just the stuff that will fix you up. But after you take it then it will clean your system from head to toe so you better lay up near the river a day or two because you will be severely dehydrated”.
