The Old Light is placed on one of the highest points on the island which is great on clear nights but fairly useless when the mist descends which it often does in the Bristol Channel. This geocache is also at one of the highest points in the area, the views are just as spectacular but in a very different way to those on Lundy.
The cache is at the published coordinates and is a Letterbox Hybrid. It is a large lunchbox with an inkpad, a stamp and a notebook as well as some other small swaps. If you have your own stamp please make an impression in the logbook. If not you can sign your name as you would in any other cache.
Be prepared for a reasonable length walk to this one, it is a good job that is what Geocaching is all about! The nearest parking is in the village of Cowley but you could get closer travelling to this one by bus from Exeter or Crediton.
