We spent Memorial Day weekend at the Whispering Pines horse camp with our horses. This trail head is one of our favorite rides and we have many fond memories here. In 2012 the Pole Creek fire burned through the area changing the landscape drastically. The forest service came in and erected a small coral here at the trail head. We had a brand new cache container with us and like the view
The cache is a black painted lock and lock container with some cool swag in it. Should be nice and water proof to make it through a few winters up here.
