The Casa Fountain Traditional Geocache

This is the famous Casablanca fountain. The place Mohammed V was constructed 1920 and is surounded by the palace of justice, the local prefecture, banks and the post office.

The fountain was originally built in 1976 on the other side of the street and is a popular space for locals and tourists.

There is a huge population of pigeons, fed by the locals.

There are big construction worksgoing on all around this area, the "Parc of the arabic leauge" will be totally redesigned and a new theatre/opera is build so the fountain moved in 2017 to the place in front of the prefecture.

The fountain is easily accessible by the Tramway: Station "Place Mohammed V" or by foot coming from the Train station "Casa Port" right through the city center.

Please be discreet in searching and hiding because of the security guards .
