I love the countryside here in the North East around Beechworth and enjoy exploring the side roads and lanes in the area. Recently I was riding from Tarrawingee to Beechworth and decided to place a few caches along this scenic dirt road. The mist was rising off the paddocks as the sun came out and with the lush pastures emerging after recent heavy rains the scenery was wonderful.
This is certainly a magnificent specimen of a river gum - there are a few others along here too of course but I thought this one was particularly majestic.
