Some of you may have heard of the Witch of Kitchen Lake, or of the haunted bridge there,
but not many know of the Kreature of Kitchen Lake.
Rumors has it that a group of teen boys went looking for the witch to confront the old woman of being a witch and maybe scare her a little.
They came upon her house and found no one home, so one of the boys decided that it would be cool to set fire to the house.
As the fire raced through the old house and the flames wicked up into the night sky, the boys began to run away, laughing at what they had done.
Right as they reached the old bridge they were stopped in their tracks at the sight of the old woman standing on the other side of the bridge.
She began chanting and pointing at the boy who started the fire, as he stood there frozen in fear, the other boys ran for their lives.
She put a curse on him that disfigured him to a hideous kreature, and he was to live out the rest of his life at Kitchen Lake and the woods surrounding it.
Legend has it that if he captured and stored souls, the witch would return after 100 years and free him from the curse, in trade for the souls.
As decades came and went, local fishermen began to vanish, their souls captured and trapped in a metal box prison on the bottom of Kitchen Lake, their body's never found.
Those 100 years came and past, and the witch never returned, so the kreature of the lake continues to harvest unsuspecting souls hoping that one day the witch will return and break the curse she placed on him.
Locals say, on very calm, foggy nights, if the moon is right, you can hear the anguished cries of the trapped souls coming up from the bottom of the lake.
Aching to be found and released so they can move on.
But beware, the prison is guarded by the deadly and most feared Diamondback Water Serpents.
Your mission is to locate the metal box at these coordinates (n 35 21.050 w 097 25.225) on the bottom of the lake, devise a plan to retrieve it, open it and take a round glass sphere (soul) and release it to be free.
