Geocache Description:

Did I ever think in a million years I'd have 100 geocache hides? NO WAY!!

So in CELEBRATION, I have decorated the container to my liking and inserted several pieces of SWAG. I've also decorated a peacock egg for the FTF person as an appreciation gift for searching out this 100th hide. You will be surprised to note, many people call me the Peacock Lady as I own three very full grown peacocks. I' have been decorating the eggs since last year. Some of the decorative form is called zentangle, which is a structured form of art. I've incorporated that form with my own free style.

Peacocks lay eggs starting in March and gestation runs 28-29 days. Within ten days of sitting, fertility can be determined by candling the egg. I use a very bright LED flashlight. Recently, my hens have been laying eggs but not sitting on them, so I've been leaving an egg or two behind and picking up the extras. I poke a small hole  on each end then blow out the egg white and yolk. I clean the egg shell and then it is ready for art. Today, one of my hens started sitting  on her nest, so I will be watching. Last year came and went with no hatched babies. Maybe this year we'll get lucky. My peacocks are 4 1/2 years old.

Be kind to one another. Safe Travels and Cache On!
