This cache has been archived.

Dalesman: This cache has been in need of care and maintenance for some time and as the owner has not responded to my note I am archiving it.
I would ask that the CO visits the site and removes any physical remains of this cache.

Guidelines:**You are responsible for occasional visits to your cache to maintain proper working order, especially when someone reports a problem with the cache (missing, damaged, wet, etc.). You may temporarily disable your cache to let others know not to search for it until you have a chance to fix the problem. This feature is to allow you a reasonable amount of time - normally a few weeks - in which to check on your cache. If a cache is not being maintained, or has been temporarily disabled for an unreasonable length of time, we may archive the listing.**

Geocache Description:

Penistone Palaver 2016 Bonus Cache "What's On The End Of The Stick, Vic?" Take the co-ordinates from the feeder caches in the Penistone Palaver 2016 Series to find this cache. You are looking for a black Nano shaped homemade cache . N53°31.ABC W001°38.DEF Nearby to the previous cache "Stick With It", hence the name!

"The Man With The Stick" was one of the most memorable characters from the "Vic Reeves Big Night Out" television series. His arrival onstage was followed by the audience cry of "What's On The End Of The Stick, Vic? " which generally resulted in The Man With The Stick refusing to reveal what WAS on the end of the stick (A carrier Bag taped to the end of a very large pole). Instead, Vic would tell the audience about all the things The Man With The Stick had seen that week (examples including "A fridge with direct access to the sea", and "Spandau Ballet on a hanglider, spying on a tar factory"), as told in picture form, drawn on a paper helmet which obscured his face and head. It was revealed at the end of the series that The Man With The Stick has sold his children to Vic, and, since they are still under contract, he is unable to get them back. Vic uses them as a means to various ends, such as trading them for a car, signing them up to the territorial army and selling their souls to the devil.
