Geocache Description:

You will have a short hike. Depending on when you go, you may even be able to hear the crowds cheering you on. As this is in a city park, caching is only allowed sunrise to sunset.

The cache is NOT at the posted coordinates. It is located at

N 36 43.EF3 W 076 20.GH0

(the last number is a ZERO, not the letter O)

The find itself will be straight forward and easy....getting the coordinates. That's another story! I have changed the T to 3. There are times of the year and ways to get there that you will think that is too high...other times spot on or too low.

Welcome to the 2016 GCHR Olympics!

Closing Ceremony - 2016 GCHR Olympics

Good Luck, Olympians!

The Olympic medals are designed especially for each individual Olympic Games by the host city's organizing committee. Each medal must be at least three millimeters thick and 60 millimeters in diameter. Also, the gold and silver Olympic medals must be made out of 92.5 percent silver, with the gold medal covered in six grams of gold.

There are those who think the silver medalist is the first place loser. The following athletes are all silver medal winners who might disagree:

Carl Lewis, Mark Spitz, Jackie Joyner-Kersee, Shawn Johnson, Nancy Kerrigan, Apolo Ohno, Greg Louganis, Amanda Beard, Mary Lou Retton, and Ryan Lochte.

If those names mean nothing to you, these people also finished second:

Clay Aiken, Katherine McPhee, David Archuletta, Chris Daughtry (finished 4th), Jennifer Hudson (really 7th), Buzz Aldrin, Susan Lucci, Al Gore, Star Wars, Raiders of the Lost Ark, and The Wizard of Oz.

And a special thanks to my dad, (DaddyMoose??) for assisting with the cache construction.Congrats to Jtmlam59 on gold....I mean FTF! And since this is the "silver" medal cache, that honor goes to E-dad. Great work!
