Geocache Description:

Explore the old town centre of Naxxar and discover a chapel or two amongst the charming old townhouses.

Take a walk from the main Naxxar parish church and discover an older area of the town, with its many alleyways and charming townhouses.

This cache can be found in the vicinity of the Chapel of Saint Lucy and the Chapel of the Nativity of the Virgin. The cache contains a logbook, instructions, a pencil, and some trinkets which can be exchanged.

Although the area is not highly peopled at most times, keep an eye out for muggles (especially ones peeping from behind windows and doors).

The Chapel of St Lucy is one of the earliest chapels probably built before 1500. It was rebuilt before 1659 and was held in high esteem by the people of the village. Still in regular use today, the feast is celebrated every year on the 13th December.

Photos very much appreciated! If you see a young(ish) couple walking by, it might be us, as we live quite close to GZ.

Another chapel and another cache can be found a short walk away at the St John Chapel.

Congrats to deggies on the FTF!
