The cache is in the Dishman Hills Conservation Area and is on a somewhat lesser used trail, Deep Ravine. Our family has hiked here for years and still come by often. The rock faces and secluded woods feel along the trail make this an enjoyable walk. Go left immediately after passing through Camp Caro and then its about 0.6 miles, take the east Deep Ravine trail.
The coordinates lead you a rock face within about 85-100 ft of the cache. It is a slight climb up but not dangerous. This does not require technical rock climbing and you don’t have to climb to the top. Cache is on a ledge with a nice perch to relax after you find it. Some of you may be able to figure it out from that, but for the exact coordinates solve the following which is also in the logbook for ISA#2:
47 39.0AA
117 17.0BB
AA: Minimum wind speed for a hurricane or typhoon
BB: "Get your kicks" on this route
The theme for this one is toy cars. It’s a larger than sandwich container, starting out with a supply of old matchbox and hotwheels cars we’ve had since the 1970’s, and the kids played with mercilessly, hence their condition. Its kindly requested you keep additions to toy cars in general.
The logbook contains clues you will need to find the next cache, ISA#4: Rocks On The Way Home.
“Everything in life is somewhere else and you get there in a car. But tonight, this is what I can give you-the vault of heaven, the firmament of the stars in the sky, and me.” -Unknown
