The Belshaw's homesteaded here in the 1800's and since then the county has made a pretty bridge as well as useful !
This cache is one in the 2016 Grant County Cachers Geocoin Kick Off Event (GC6GFMV). This year's theme is "Bridges of Grant County". While not all of the qualifying caches will be on or near a bridge, the scenic route will take you across several bridges over multiple creeks and forks of the John Day River. We wanted to take time to enjoy the beauty and variety of this important piece of infrastructure, especially as some of them are showing their age. How far could we travel without bridges?
