Geocache Description:

5 mi RT up and down hike through Hood Mtn Regional Park and Sugarloaf Ridge State Park. 2 photos will be of help.

Hood Mountain Regional Park - Los Alamos Trailhead; parking fee or pass required. No dogs allowed in State Park; no water at trailhead so bring plenty. Take Hood Mtn trail south from parking lot to Homestead Meadow, and then McCormick Addition trail east;uphill. Although this cache is at the end of the line for now, Sonoma County Parks and CA State parks may open more of this land to visitation through recent property acquisitions. As with the nearby cache - Wish My House Was Here - you may wish your house were here, too. Don't cross into private property. Decon container is hanging 6' up in the last oak tree on your left/south as you approach the gate. The tree is about 20' off the trail, and the correct branch is on the homestead side of the tree. Go early in warm weather, though much of the trail is shaded. PLEASE TRADE FAIR OR NOT AT ALL!
