Temporarily disable your cache to let others know not to search for it until you have addressed the problem. If a cache is not being maintained, or has been temporarily disabled for an unreasonable length of time, we may archive the listing.

Could the cache owner please place a note on the cache page so that other cachers and I can see what your intentions are.

Please DO NOT send an email about this cache in case I don't receive it. Posting a note will ensure your cache does not get archived in error.

This cache involves locating seven historical locations around the area of Fairmilehead. Growing up in the neighbourhood allowed myself to see these hidden historical treasures which I would love to share with you. Each site offers a clue to the above numerical coordinates.

The aim is to arrive at each location to determine U, V, DD, X, Q, ABC, Y, Z respectively. Once the coordinates have been completed, it will lead you to the cache.

* * * PLEASE REFER TO ADDITIONAL WAY POINTS BELOW TO WORK OUT U, V, DD, X, Q, ABC Y, Z * * *

The area is very residential, therefore you can park virtually anywhere sensible. Although try to avoid parking on Comiston Road as it is a vital artery connecting Central/Southern Edinburgh with the bypass.
