A simple-to-find cache that's easy to park and grab near Lake Weatherford.
There's a nice and relatively new wedding venue just southeast of this cache on West Lake Drive. Just be careful. The water gets over the road near it, and water often stands near the venue's entrance. Wonder why they don't do something about that? There's so much mud around sometimes that people with trucks like to play in the mud along this road, leading to all those barricades trying to keep them off the mud – although one stretch of guardrail has been there for years. People even used to drive around in the mud at that big cleared-off area at the corner – before it was fenced off. And we've seen people stuck in the mud out where the lake should be. Why would they go out there?
We've never seen any standing water near this cache, so you shouldn't have too much trouble retrieving it. Pull in anywhere nearby. People are always stopping around here. Just don't get stuck in any mud.
