A series of caches to explore our childhood memories.
This is the 4th in what will be a series of caches in and around the towns of Tredegar and Ebbw Vale which is where me and my husband grew up. We often take our little girl Kida to places that we went to when we were young and recall our childhood memories. We thought it would be nice to share these places with everyome else.
Growing up I have many fond memories of days out here. The mountain in front of you was known as the winberry mountain and as children we would eagerly wait for the wimberrys to be ready to pick. On sunny weekends there would be loads of families sitting here having a picnic and with all the kids playing in the stream and picking or usually eating the wimberries.
