This is the 5th in a series of caches in and around the towns of Tredegar and Ebbw Vale which is where me and my husband grew up. We very often take our little girl Kida to places that we went to when we were young and recall our childhood memories. We thought it would be nice to share these places with everyone else.
Growing up our parents did not drive so if we wanted to get anywhere we either walked or took the bus. We spent many sunny summer days walking to the village of Trefil to play in the stream and pick wimberries. Usually by the time we had walked to here I was complaining that my feet were hot and I needed a rest. Under the road runs a stream and I always asked if we could stop and cool our feet off, I have many happy memories of paddling here on those long sunny days.
Once you have found the cache while not rest a while on the nearby bench and enjoy the view.
Here you are looking for a micro cache, there is no room for a pen so please bring your own.
Please note that the cache is not in or on the wall
