The Junction Traditional Cache

Cache is at the Junction of the Henderson Tramline and the North South Track.

This is another cache on the way to the Hurunui Hut and at the junction about 30 minutes from the Hut.  The track is good but can be very muddy and slippery so take care.  Good tramping gear is recommended and always tell someone where you are going. We started off Old Kaimai Road - look for the DOC sign and small parking area.  You could also come down the track from the main highway at the summit of the Kaimais.
