This is a Four Stage Multi within the City of Manton. The Old Manton to Cadillac Road ended in downtown Manton at the Railroad Park.
When the original homesteaders came to the Manton area to start their new lives, they traveled along the Mackinaw Trail, just a rutted two lane path. This road was eventually widen and graveled and the Railroad was built parallel. Both ended in Manton, but were eventually extended to Fife Lake and further north as the lumber was removed and homes and farms were built. Enjoy your "tour" of our small town! The nearby business is aware of the cache.
