The way is the goal!
A special cache for everyone that likes to walk or ride his bicycle for longer distances. Around 27 kilometers of flat track have to be mastered. The trail leads from Gongguan along the riverside all around Shezi Island and provides you some beautiful views of the Taipei Riverside along the way. No bridges have to be crossed to find this cache. Stage 1 is located at the coordinates of the multi.
If you arrive at the start by metro, there is a UBike rental station close to the waypoint provided. If you want to split this cache up into multiple sections, I recommend visiting waypoints A to E in one trip and using one of the evacuation gates (provided as waypoints) to exit the bike trail. Of course it is also possible to visit all the waypoints piece by piece.
How to find the cache:
Around every one of the waypoints, you will find one of the items in the picture. Simply write down the right number at every waypoint and continue enjoying the beautiful river biking trails! The first waypoint A is found at the published coordinates. It might be helpful to print out the picture and bring it with you.
Once you've reached all of the waypoints, you can find the final coordinates:
N 25° 04.(A+C+E+G+I+K)
E 121° 31.(B+D+F+H+J+L)
You can check your coordinates with the GeoChecker provided below. With the correct coordinates, the GeoChecker will also provide you a hint for the final cache location. Enjoy the trip! :)
Update January 2024: Some of the landmarks we're looking for have disappeared over time. No surprise after almost 8 years. Unfortunately I lost the correct values myself soon after the publish, but thanks to the help of JosephShih13, I can now give some updates and make this mystery a little easier again. So we can focus on the biking instead of guessing numbers in formulas.
The values for B, H and L are 57, 44 and 91 (not necessarily in this order, but it doesn't matter for the formula)
The value for K is 97.
