If you look around the area, you will the find the remains of old beaver activity. The beavers were relocated a few years ago as they were beginning to affect the road. At one time, damned up water was lapping at the shoulder of the road in places. As they say, beavers are nature's best construction crew.
There is a small turnoff very close to the cache, suitable for no more than two vehicles. Make sure you use this turnoff and get well off the pavement as this road can be very busy.
