The viewpoint that this cache leads you to looks out over a lake that is named for the family who owned a large protion of the land around this lake. The Roses family still ownes some of the property in the area, but much of it is for sale now. These couple of pullouts are used by fishermen who walk down the hill and fish in this well known trout lake. Also, there is a road bed still visible just below the cache location, this is the old county road that was replaced decades ago. The road is well traveled by cars, bicycles, walkers and runners. Good luck and know that this area does have bull snakes and rattle snakes. You may find a few gecko also. There are many bald eagles and osprey in the area as well as a chance at seeing a vulture taking in the updrafts there.
