The cache is accessible via the light rail using the Woodberry station, by bus using the Clipper Mill/Union Ave bus stop, by bicycle along the East Coast Greenway and Jones Falls Trail, or by car. We are not giving parking coordinates as there are numerous parking areas in the vicinity. You can decide which parking best fits your needs.
This is a 3 stage multi designed to let you explore the Clipper Mill area. At the listed coordinates you will find a plaque honoring a local hero, Eric Schaefer.
Find the answers to the following:
1) What was he a proud member of? Multiply the number of letters in the 3rd word by 5. Subtract that number from the North coordinates to help you find stage 2.
2) Take the number of firefighters and paramedics and subtract the pieces of equipment. Take that number and add it to the West coordinates to help you find stage 2.
At stage 2:
1) There is a brown gate and fence in front of an elevator at stage 2. Count the total number of wheels and add 100. Take the sum and subtract it from the stage 2 North coordinates to help you find the final stage.
2) While you are standing in front of the glass sculpture, look for a small plaque on the wall opposite the elevator which tells you the name of the glass artist and the year the piece of art was made. Using the first number of the year, the last number last number of the year, and the first number again put them in sequence and divide by 2. Now add the new number to the stage 2 West coordinates to get you to the final.
Stage 3: Happy hunting.
