Geocache Description:

A great place for walking dogs, but watch out for livestock.

This area is typical South Wales upland habitat, home to many different forms of wildlife including ground-nesting birds, moorland and marsh plants, rabbits and hares, and even the occasional red kite if you're lucky.

The area is popular with mountain bikers, with many hidden trails to explore in the nearby woods.

While you're in the area, why not take a walk further along the ridge, and maybe take in a few more caches? There are great views of Caerffili (home to the largest castle in Wales) from further along, and if you look North on a clear day you can see the Brecon Beacons on the horizon.

You will need a thin stick or something similar (a pen will do) to retrieve this nano cache.
