A short gathering of people to help increase plant diversity at the Horsbere Flood Containment Area otherwise known as Horsbere Nature Reserve.
Meet up at the gate or find us up by the seat. Please bring a pencil/ chop stick or similar to make holes for planting.
The "mound" we are going to sow is exposed to the elements so bring a hat and a drink
The current vegetation is quite rampant and tall. Long sleeves and long trousers would avoid possible irritation.
We found a kneeler pad handy and used a three-pronged rake/hoe/scraper to get down to the "grass-roots"
Parking may be available around the gate and lay-by, otherwise over the bridge at the pub/hotel.
