A beautiful chapel surrounded by bush and with stunning views towards the head of the lake. The building is usually open during daylight hours, and is well worth a visit. It is an interdenominational chapel that owes its existence to the inspiration and hard work of Sergeant Nolan Oxnam who also conceived the idea for Rotoiti Lodge.
There is a track through the chapel grounds that leads to the lake, another track that begins near the start of the driveway joins up with the Black Valley walk.
The cache is a micro, hidden at the base of a stump. Please add natural camouflage when replacing.
