Geocache Description:

Pacific Valley in the summer has spectacular beauty.  To explore this area, you probably have a love for the outdoors.  Each step towards the saddle between Henry and Bull Run Peaks opened up new discoveries of nature - the lush meadows, light forested areas and a defined trail.   We saw water seeping through the ground forming streams that flowed down to the lower valleys.  Jim and I were on a hike to both peaks and rested in the shade along the trail.

At this point of the Pacific Valley trail, you are at one of the last growths of trees before the ridge.  We saw the mother of all trees and wanted to put a cache there.  The main tree trunk was bent at an angle possibly from the weight of the snow and several branches on the top side of the trunk grew straight up forming what appeared to be many trees on a tree.

The cache is an easy walk from the trail.  There is camping at the PV campground.
