The most popular trailhead is located at the end of Alpine Way. This route begins by following the Flank Trail steadily uphill for just under 4km to the intersection with the Skywalk Trail ("Upper 19 Mile Creek" on map). This route offers easier walking than the other but is longer and will have lots of bike traffic.
The second most popular trailhead (and the one I personally recommend) begins at the cul-de-sac at the top of Mountainview Drive. It is identified as "Lower 19 Mile Creek" on signs in the area and "19 Mile Creek East" on the map. This trail is steeper than the Mid Flank but offers the shortest and most direct route to the Skywalk Trail, reaching the Flank Trail in just 2.5 km. There are many markers along the way, some with directions written on them in fading ink. Upon reaching the Flank Trail, go left and you will reach the Skywalk Trail on the right a minute later.
The Skywalk/Upper 19 Mile Creek trail follows the 19 Mile Creek drainage up through the woods and into the alpine, reaching Iceberg Lake in 5km from the Flank Trail.
Good luck!
