The Camp is Having Fun Traditional Cache

This cache was hidden as a culmination of a first-year Geocaching camp held in Golden, Colorado for Jefferson County Public Schools students. These students and their families are experiencing homeless and food insecurity. This camp offered an opportunity for these students to learn about GPS technology, be outdoors, and provided positive role models for them. 

"The Camp is Having Fun" was created by the campers as a way to permenantly connect them with the geocaching community.

This cache is a camoflauged, small plastic container. It was originally stocked with trinkets and stickers chosen by the campers. This is rated 1.5 for terrain because the cache is located off of the paved trail.
