Now that this area has been opened up, I decided to have a bit of an explore. There are very nice views from the existing Big Monks cache, but if you follow the ridgeline back, you can also get some nice views to the south! Elevation here is about 20m lower than the peak at Mini Monks I. From here you will find more views over Tharwa, Tharwa bridge, Mt Tennent and Baroomba rocks.
Note: this is a very small container - please BYO pen.
Also: Bikes are allowed on the fire trails only, so you cannot ride all the way to the cache site.
