A small magnetic cache just outside of Alum Rock Park
There are many caches along the Penitencia Creek Trail and inside Alum Rock Park, but this spot just outside Alum Rock Park was previously empty. Stand on the Dorel Drive bridge and watch the creek flow by, then look for a small magnetic cache container with room for a few very small trade items. Please bring your own pen or pencil to sign the log. Parking can be tricky unless you're planning to go for a hike at Alum Rock Park--parking there will cost you $6. (There is some free parking in Alum Rock Park for the summer of 2016.) There is limited parking available on side streets, or you can walk or bike to this location.
