The walk to he ridgeway or to Aldworth is a walk I often do. So if you see someone with a choclate labrador (called Henry) it may well be me. The path is a gentle climb up the hill but is very rutted and uneven. Do not attempt to drive further than the parking spot. This is a walkers path and sadly not suitable for buggies or wheelchairs. The puddles close to the cache can be very deep...so please walk around them.
I have placed two more caches on the path up to the ridgeway and there may be more to follow. It is a good jumping off point for other local caches.
It is possible to start the walk in Aston Tirrold but do be aware of the main road as it is very fast at the crossroads. It is possible to park very close to the cache at the recommended parking spot and do the cache as a cache andd dash...but hopefully you will use the opportunity to take a longer walk and do some of the other caches and enjoy some of the peace and quiet offered by the rolling hills.
The cache itself is a 35mm film canister and should not be difficult to find.
Congratulations to BradOx and OXhoop as the joint FTFs!!!
