A small cache near where Comet Road (the Waupaca County dead end road) passes over Comet Creek.
There is another Comet Road just to the northwest of here in Shawano County which also passes over Comet Creek, but that is another bridge and cache. This cache is on one of the longest winding dead end roads that I know of in Waupaca County. Very much out of the way on this small gravel road - I'm not even sure if they plow snow in the winter way out here. With a good number of low hanging branches and cut trees that were once across the road I should almost suggest bringing a chain saw along to find this one - you may or may not make it in - or out. No 4WD was needed however when I placed the cache. This cache is one in a series of hides placed to introduce you to some of the quieter back roads overlooking streams, creeks and rivers around my home area. Some of these roads will be quieter than others and some more scenic depending on the season and time of day - all should be winter friendly.
